If it's so different now comparing to 2 years ago, It feels like microstock won't be worthwhile at all in a few years... |

depends what your targets are.
To become a fulltime pro you have to compete with the best of the world and make each month at least $5,000.
If you are satisfied with a little less, lets say 1-2,000 a year to buy some photo gear, then it becomes a lot easier already.
