Looks really great. I'm afraid a timelapse of me staring at the computer screen and clicking wouldn't be as interesting. ;)

By the way I think you're the right person to ask this question. Is there a market for VJ clips at the moment? I know a lot of people do visuals right now and I even know a couple of guys doing this for money, but they don't seam to be willing to pay $79 for a single clip.

hey nder,

yes and no i think is the answer to this. when vjing you need a large library of clips to mix throughout the night, so normally yes $79 a clip is out of the queston. most bedroom vjs don't have a large budget for buying clips and will use a lot of found footage from tv and film and also free clips on the internet and stuff they shot themselves. when stuff is projected at clubs and events there are different arguments and no clear cut answer about using stuff you don't have the copywrite to use, and for the most part no-one has any problem with it. so that reduces potential sales of clips even if they had the money to spend!

i do work with 2 companies as well who sell footage mostly for vjs. they sell collections of clips, which are more affordable for vjs, and for a lower price they get a set of 20 - 30 clips to use for playing.

but then there is the clubs themselves, and event organizers promoters who are looking to buy a certain kind of clubby footage style for their events. these people have a bigger budget and will look to sites like shutterstock to buy suitable video...
