I've been submitting photos 7 years ago, now I look at them and wonder how the hell this kind of stuff got approved? LOL
Well, I don't delete anything, some of them keep on selling :)

Since then I've got a better camera and better lenses, improved my skills, and, well, I'm no longer able to shoot stock photos, couldn't deal with this rejection rate. For instance, I submit a texture and it gets rejected for composition, well, I don't understand or it's some strange thing mystifying..

So I passed to submit illustrations which is much more fun due to high acceptance rate (at least for me, at least for now) but still get some mysterious rejections. When I write to Support, they say they forwarded my message to the review department, and they never reply anything. Since I have one simple question regarding the submission of color variations of the same image (which are many on site, many times I've got it approved, all this stuff successfully sells, then I upload new batches and they get rejected for "similar submissions" - I say, OK could you just make it clear for me is it accepted or not?? One day it is, another day it is not, holy cow I don't want to waste my time submitting the stuff that maybe is gonna get rejected this time. Another time not..... Well I don't like to deal with luck, I just wanna have it clear.
...while they are not the images you could easily recolor, the complexity makes it a headache to recolor such an image...

If you read the instructions and submission guidelines when you submit your first ten image for acceptance you will see that if you do not get the minimum 7 out of 10 approved you must wait 30 days then you can submit an additional ten. This can go on for as long as you like or your are accepted.

It is a good idea to post your images in the critique section if you are trying to get accepted.

There are many people who will share their own personal experiences and will tell you what is acceptable and what is not... both in terms of copyright and technical quality.

You can learn a lot in the critique section.

I know I do... and I have been a contributor here for a few years. :-)
