This thing now happens to me all the time since I try to synchronize my ports on SS and FT... When I upload new images to FT and immediately submit them, it takes a few days for them to be reviewed. However, if I upload a huge batch and slowly submit them in smaller batches, the review times go down to minutes usually!

Could it be that they review all uploaded images, if they were submitted or not, just in case? Or is it just a reviewer who accidentally has not very much to review and just waits for me to submit something? ;)

All in all, FT seems MUCH more strict with reviews... While I scratch on the 300 images port on SS, I hardly made it over 50 on FT and while trying to get many of my SS images approved there, usually 75% of my submissions are rejected. Sniff. Always thought I could be smug about being on SS and having so many images accepted within two years (as a complete beginner on DSLRs)... ;)

It's propably just a coincidence. I uploaded a batch a few days ago and immediately submitted them and they were reviewed within a few minutes.

Their reviewtimes just vary a lot. Sometimes it takes a few days but most of the time they review within 24 hours.
