When transfering a file to Photoshop from my old DPP program (that came with the 40D) the ICC profile is sRGB IEC61966-2.1 but when transfering the same file from the DPP program that came with the 5D, the ICC profile is sRGB v1.31 (canon)
I checked both color management settings and they appear to be the same. How can I get the new DPP program to take the IEC profile, rather then the canon one?
Thanks! |

Hi Diana
Not sure if this is what you mean but if you go to Tools> preferences, under the colour management tab you can set the printing profile to sRGB IEC61996 v2.1

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your reply, but no, this is not what I mean (I did try it to see if it made a change, but it did not)
When I forward a file from my old DPP program, if I hit "save as" it shows the sRGB IEC61996 v2.1 as ICC profile.
However, if I forward the same file from the new DPP program, it shows (when hitting "save as") the aforementioned one from Canon.
What I need to know is how I can set up the new DPP program, so it takes the IEC61996 v2.1 ICC profile and not the Canon one. |
