Hi there,
I've already broken my mind trying to understand SS search engine.
I uploaded a few photos a week ago and after approval they were on 3rd and 4th page for a few days if I did a search by most popular. Now I cannot see them anywhere except in my portfolio. I've checked all 46 pages of search result! WTHIGO? How it can be that a few photos just dissapeared from the search after one night? I can understand if they'd moved to "lower position" but not completely disappeared from search engine.

In order for us to look into this matter, we will need image numbers from you. Please give me numbers and I will find out what is going on.

This morning I said that everything is fine but it happened again. This is some king of mystic. I just did a serch again and something definitely wrong with "most popular" search. I can find my images if I sort by "Newest first" or "Random", but NOT by "Most Popular". A few hours ago they were on the first and second pages and now they do not exist in "Most Popular" search. So from time to time SS search shows appropriare results and some times not. Again I tested from different computers with cleared Internet Explorer cache. It was working a few days ago and this morning but not yesterday or right now. So it looks like that something definitely wrong with "Most popular" search if it shows completely different results during the day.

For example image #3293913 (or #3293918) was on the first page this morning if you search for "credit card" (without quotes - just two separate words) and sort by "most popular". Now I cannot find it anywhere in the search result on any of 46 pages. So the "most popular" search result is completely different even on the same day. Sure the rating could be different but images shouldn't disappear completely from the search.

Hi,

The same has happened to me. I thought that they had just slipped out of the best photos but then they re-appeared this morning on the second page & 7th page of business finance, only for them to completely disappear again.

I will have our tech department look into this. I noticed that your image shows up in the top couple rows when searched by "debit card" (without quotes), but not with "credit card". This may very well be a bug. I will keep you posted.
