Hi, I want to get a page on my website with some links to useful photography software sites with downloads & stuff.
I have Pixmantec.com (fantastic RAW converter, thanks Forgiss) on my list, but was wondering if my fellow ShutterStockings could help me by posting a few more here..?
Thanking you all in advance... |

Apologizing for being on the more generic amature end of the spectrum, I'd still have to say that the best tool I have ever used for organization of images (and minor filter and effect work) is Picasa 2. Besides being free, I tend to opt to use Picasa for rotation and cropping, a little but of lighting.
Photoshop CS is of choice when needing to spend more than a minute of editing, but all the images I intend just to keep on Smugmug for sharing with family never need more than the quick workup Picasa makes a breeze.
My humble nomination then, www.picasa.com - yeah, don't forget the free part, Google seems to be able to make free work out nicely. |
