Hi all
dont get me wrong guys, i dont want to accuse you ingus of anything (and really appreciate your generous gift)

BUT: this would be the perfect way to get all the account information of us, who acutally install and use this nice tool! If i would like to get your logins and passwords, this would be my choice (as it occurs that my day job is being a software engineer...)...maybe i'm paranoid...

:-)

it seems to just submit your shutterstock logged in cookie - so you never actually enter any username/password into it (or so it seems from my attempts to reverse engineer it, and repurpose it to generate a rss feed for me to watch my stats via a rss reader). tho i might be wrong!

Exactly! There's no reason to save the passwords or usernames. You do a regular login to webpage and I use the fact that you stay logged in after you navigate away from the page.

If you read through this topic, numerous people have already seen / looked through the source and nothing suspicious has been found.

I just installed 'Flock' on my new 'used' laptop, and the Firefox extension works great with it! (Flock is a mozilla based open source browser, from what I understand.)

Doesn't seem to work with Firefox 3.0.1 - it appears in the status bar but says "Not logged in" even though it's been running for 2 hours and I've signed in twice and re-started Firefox to be sure. It worked great using the earlier version 2.

Works fine for me. Though I had to reinstall it after moving to FF3.

dlwdesigns, If you've tried it already, than the only thing that comes to my mind seems to be trying to PM the author (or e-mailing him off the web page), since I am not computer-literate enough to troubleshoot FF extension problems :).

Good luck,
Stas.
