It's hard to tell without seeing a 100% crop. Can you post a few of those so we can take a better look?

You don't really need to post a 100% crop on this one since it's downloadable.
There DOES appear to be a VERY, VERY slight amount of noise in some areas. For example, look at the lower left hand corner (marked). It's slight, but it's there. There may be other areas I just looked until I found some. The background is a tad mottled, but I don't think that's an issue.

there are those here who de-noise almost every picture they submit (paranoia sets in).
alot use programs like noise ninja. (choose an area ... apply noise reduction.. then toggle back to original version and see the difference... sometimes you'd be surprised where noise shows up (of course in shadows and deep blue skies)
and then there are others who save their money and just apply a teaspoon of gaussian blur. that usually is enough to clean up the noise enough for these noise-obsessed reviewers.

I find that the luminance noice reduction function when converting from raw photos in photoshop cs3 is very effective. Moreover, there is no perceptible degrade in sharpness viewed at 100%. Please correct me if i am wrong.
