I believe today is a Public Holiday over there in the USA.
Have a good one.
Buy your ice-cream [I sold ice-cream in Omaha Nebraska and Council Bluffs Iowa in the summer of73 and had a great time on July 4th.] and have a party.

Report back here please if you are doing anything special.

So you are the one who reviewed my last batches. Thanks! I was wondering who would be working on a public holiday . . .

And guess what, this baby, that you just approved, just got its first sale:

.and I thought there would only be a skeleton staff on board.
Good on you working through your holiday. I'm not sure that I would, but then I think of myself as semi-retired anyway.

I figured everyone would be off... but I got 37 or so out of the 42 submitted approved... I appreciate it!! Not only did I get approved, but I decided that it was a justifiable enough reason to splurge on a new camera... I upgraded from a Canon S500, P&S to a brand new, Digital Rebel XT 8.0mp... I'm so excited!! New toys!! New reasons to shoot!! I can't wait to get some photos with it!!

Have a great week!

Oh, wow, several of my newest ones just sold as well!!

Hi,
This 4th was special to me because we were able to talk to and view by webcam, our son who is currently serving (U.S. Army) in Iraq.

I let him know that I really appreciate my freedoms here and appreciate his service...

Glad he is doing well! My brother-in-law returned to his wife and kids after active duty in Bagdad for over one-year. Everyone met him at Fort Bragg and I heard they had the best 4th ever!!
