Persuant to the current "SS Website Use" TOS, it states:

"11.You may not frame or hotlink to the Shutterstock website or any Image without the prior written consent of Shutterstock. "

Question,...is it now necessary to obtain "Written Permission" from SS to utilize the referal links used from our personal websites in accord with the Referrant Program?

does that mean you cannot post acepted photos in you gallery to the forums?

What is about posting images in non-shutterstock forums? Is hot-linking allowed or not? SY

I will sometimes include one of my photos in a blog that is a direct link to my portfolio here to drive traffic. Will that still be allowed?

hmm,i think the changes mentioned so far apply only to subscribers, but would also appreciate any clarification.

has anyone else done the mice-type reading to see other changes (wouldn't it be nice if SS posted "changes" as highlights as others often do?)

The section of Submit.Shutterstock.com entitled Create Your Mini-Gallery, constitutes Shutterstock's prior written consent to link to your own Shutterstock Images.

I have/ run/ own a pretty active, international and independent forum, until now our members posted their best-selling/ most popular etc image on Shutterstock in our threads. Can we continue to do so? At the moment I have asked that they don't do it and advised the moderators to look that nobody hot-links to Shutterstock. Where can I get the previously mentioned permission and how do I have to proceed? Thanks, SY

Apart from that, I would think that participation in a Shutterstock-sponsored referral program would imply that Shutterstock has provided prior written consent to link to the site using any valid referral link.
