Not anymore, those used to be the numbers before. Now Shutterstock has grown and you need around 10 or more to make it to the top 50 and around 20-30 to make it to #1. I remember having 9 downloads for a file in one day and that wasn't enough.
Last time I had a number one, it got there with 23 downloads in a week and that was 2 weeks ago.

I haven't seen the top 50 for a long time!!!!

What would be really neat is if you could see the top collections...

Say a collection can consist out of 10 images with total sales of the ten... it would give you a good idea of the value of a shoot as well (I wish we could group our stats that way!)

pjmorley I'm very surprised that your image was not rejected by the reviewers! The "4" at the 40 sec. mark is missing, the clock has Roman numerals which not everyone knows how to read, the sweeping second hand is cut off, and there are splocthes all over the face of the clock that resemble clouds! Oh! also the time is wrong too! it says 12:44....is that AM or PM? Besides the real time is 4:08 PM here in NY.

I don't know how you managed to slip that one by the reviewers

Ah well you see, it's all in the timing. I uploaded it at exactly 53 hours 21 minute and 17 seconds before 12:44 and 25 seconds.

I had been watching the review times very closely and determined that the reviewer would see my picture at exactly 12:44 and 25 seconds ;-)

My other upload of a 1994 calendar was rejected with the reason '11 years and 10 months too late' ;-)
