I'm going to upgrade my lenses to use on my 20D. Now I'm using a Tamron 18-200 f3.5-6.0 DiII. The options I'm thinking about are (all Canon):

Option 1:
EF 24-105 F4L IS AND
EF 70-200 F4L

Option 2:
EF 17-40 F4L AND
EF 70-200 F4L AND
EITHER:
EF 50 F1.4 OR
EFS 60 F2.8 Macro

Each option is about the same price. I'd appreciate all comments and suggestions.

Thanks!!

What are you wanting to photograph? I have the 50mm 1.8 which is a great portrait lense, so if you are wanting to take portraits I would go for the 50mm 1.4 option.

In your shoes I would go for option 2 so that you have a better wide-angle capability.

Are you considering the EFS 60 F2.8 Macro for its Macro capabilities?. If yes, maybe you would like to take a look at the EF 100 f2.8 instead. More focal length, more working distance and not an EF-S lens (you don't have to sell it if you upgrade to full frame cameras)
