So, I have fun scouting different materials to use. The blue background here is actually a shower curtain with a retro square pattern all over it. I bought it new at a thrift shop. The brown is a silky/ shiney tablecloth I bought for $3 at a dept. store. The way it catches the light when it is draped is real nice.
I also buy big left over pieces of material at the goodwill for next to nothing.

Anyone else want to share some neat ideas?

Wow! These are all great! Thanks.

I think many people don't realize what a big difference that a small change can make. Especially a background! It's a good idea to gather different materials as you are out and about and have them on hand.
