Wow! These are all great! Thanks.

I think many people don't realize what a big difference that a small change can make. Especially a background! It's a good idea to gather different materials as you are out and about and have them on hand.

Ya otta see my garage.LOL It's all about imagination, Your only limited to that.

Oh, lets not forget the limitations of garage size!

Your not reading. I took a sky shot then had it printed 13 x19 at costco . Then put it behind a thorn piece and shot it again. Absolutely nothing to it. about as simple as it gets. You have no Imagination? Sharon, Thats bullshit, Your entire portfolio is based on Illusian and Imagination. And you do it quite well.................Dont give me that crap. Your damn good at this.

Oh ok, I did miss the part about shooting the sky first and having it printed. Very creative! Thanks for the encouragement too! It means a lot to me coming from you!

here is an intresting background

I have a whole series of time laps in my gallery if you really wish to see more

Time Laps (aka Bulb Exposure) of about 30-60 seconds in a pitch black room (my kitchen to be exact at midnight or so)
all illuminated with pen light flashlights of diffrent colors
the background is a kids toy .99 cent Fiber Optic Color flashlight/toy of pink and blue (you can change colors on this one)
I had the toy lit and waved it up and down behind the martini glass after lighting it up with a small penlight

Time laps is great fun and offers some unique effects

I've been wanting to print some of my pics to use as backgrounds for awhile now, but hadn't gotten around to it. For some reason (in the beginning) I thought I'd need them printed much larger or something.

Finally started my sky collection last week though, now I just need to print some! :)

Great ideas and examples here everyone, thanks!

This is really interesting. I've never thought about how simple some things can really be. Now i'm looking at everything around me thinking "what can i do with that thing "? Thanks for kick-starting my imagination everyone.
