I am still trying to have my first 10 images accepted and sent a third batch last week. Rejected again but this time no email notification sent telling me so....Frustrated with the whole process and thinking of giving up. Blah blah blah- no response required, just venting my spleen yet again. >:-[ |

Karen!!! POST your pictures in the Critiques forum!! That's the only way we can help you. I haven't seen them there yet and I know this is your third try! If you'll post them, we can help point out what needs improvement.
You've got a good bit of perserverance or you'd have given up already. That's a good thing (perserverance, that is) but we NEED TO SEE YOUR IMAGES! Don't be shy! If you're going to try this hard, you may as well get accepted!
If you'll post 'em along with the reason(s) given for rejection, we'll help! I promise! Get to it! I'm giving you 72 hours to post some images in the Critiques forum or I'm going to go around saying bad things about you to people I don't know. Don't you DARE even THINK about giving up! |

Please please don't say bad things about me I beg you.
Now let me get one thing clear, I'm not grumping about the rejections. I am grumping about the no email notification - unnecessary waiting around for a decision. At least now I now how to find out the verdict without waiting for the email. As to the rejections - no rhyme or reason. One for example, was rejected for artifacting but has previously been accepted for other sites that are pedantic about artifacting.
So thanks for the offer of help - much appreciated, and I might post some examples later, it's late here in NZ and bedtime for me.

Perry is right Karen about posting some images that we can look at. Many, many times submitters have said that shots that were accepted at another site were not accepted here at Shutterstock. This really has no bearing at all because each site has their own standards and own reviewers. Each site is different so it is like comparing apples to oranges.
We would very much like to give you whatever help or advice we can so when you get time post some shots so we can have a look. Keep up the effort!! |
