LOL @ "pleasantly surprised"

Seriously guys?

Pleasant is an increase in line with your own increase.

And does everyone not give 2 craps that the under $500 group didn't get a SINGLE CENT for the first time in SS "raise" history? Talk about getting screwed.

Of course, the fastest way to qualify for the higher payout rates is to submit more high-quality content. These earnings levels are not hard to reach as long as you submit your newest and best work to us.

This part is annoying, not encouraging.

In percentage terms it varies from reasonable to pretty good, so thanks for that, but I believe it falls somewhat short of keeping pace with the increase charged to buyers, which is disappointing.

agree, except of course for those contributors below $500...

I must be honest and say I am a little disappointed with this.

I'll not remove my portfolio at this stage, after all, SS clearly views us smalltime folk as insignificant anyway.
I will however focus my main attention elsewhere.

Same here, time to put all my new work to sites other than SS.

far less then expected. the highest tier should be .50 at least.. ELs $40 at least.. again the subscripson was raised by larger percent then our comission.

At least I hope that the extra profit will be invested in a great advertisment campaign

Yea. Because of getting dissed like this it is very unlikely I will ever try to get to $500 on here. I'm already at $50.00 for the month, but I'm really mad about this!

I reread the announcement, but can't seem to find where it says when this raise will be in effect. So far I am seeing .30 cent sales and an EL for 20.00.

When will we see the higher commissions?

Ohhhhh yeah, here we go.
Complain complain complain.....

For those of you that do not rely on photography for a fulltime income - did you get a 10% raise this year from your dayjob?
Probably not.

10% aint bad at all.
So all of you that are bent out of shape..see ya.
All the more for me.

Very disappointed.

I had hoped vectors would have a variable rate based on complexity.

I'm getting the 38 cents.. but somehow i'm a tad bit disappointed. And i can totally understand the grudges of those people who don't qualify yet for the highest raise. This wasn't a very pleasant surprise but then again.. it could have been less.
