You need to be running Firefox, then go to http://tineye.com/plugin and install the plugin
if you don't have firefox already then why not download it via the button here http://www.lazortech.com/get-firefox.html and I will get a small commission
many thanks :) |
Sorry for being thick but what do you mean use the plugin ?
When I went to download plugin it came up as adobe flash player or something ?
So where do I go and what do I do to use it to search for anything? |
You must be using firefox, when you click on "install plugin" on this page http://tineye.com/plugin it should install install a firefox addin |

I tried this but the plugin searches the SS watermark aswell, giving me tens of results based on that alone but the photo itself having nothing to do with mine. |
I never had the problem, but I can see it could be possible, I have noticed you can get different results is you base your search on a thumbnails or the larger watermarked images |

Unfortunately, the site is going to need a little work and/or growth in order to be functional. |
They say so themselves: site is still in Beta, only a small amount of the pictures found online are indexed. |

go to one of your photos that is posted somewhere on the web : photobucket, blogger, etc.
Right click the image and select properties.
Copy and paste the entire URL (starts with http://...)
Or...you can upload from your computer as long as it's a small version |
