Definitely,

I used the original Sony HDR SR1 for all the footage in my gallery and I am doing ok with the small amount of clips in there.

I asked because it was a HDD not miniDV. GREAT!

I get 4 hours of HD on 30GB so you are looking at 16 hours!!! The workflow is a lot quicker with HDD too. I now work with SxS cards as well and would never go back to tape.

I was asking about the quality level. I know people have said the compression on them is not acceptable for stock...
