How about the fella holding the camera.
Do you think he has passed his Sell By date?

I agree. That implies any jerk with a camera who just points and clicks can make a fortune.

Time for a change with this one!

I don't like it much to be honest. Doesn't really say anything visually, and the tagline "for photographers" ignores the significant contribution by illustrators.
I'm not complaining because it really doesn't matter to me either way as long as the payouts keep coming. But you asked....

It's unfair to call peoples comment on this logo "bitching". The question was asked, and people are replying. That's fair. There are a lot of designers in the crowd who know what they are talking about and after all when you think about it, we ARE shutterstock. So I think it's fair for us to have our say.

I like it, i really do. Think it would look cool on apparel. How about a free SS cap and t-shirt, i'll pay the shipping :) :)

I had just finished blending in the old shutterstock logo into the graphics of my own site.

Now this page has both logos on it

Even though this new logo could be better with some minor tweaks, I like it better than the old one. I never liked the film aspect of the previous logo (especially since digital cameras are mostly being used now!) but loved the camera in the circle!

This new logo stays in your head right away which is what branding is all about!

What a fantastic website, the best I have seen to showcase your own work. Hope that you won't mind if I get inspired.

cheers,

No problem. Thanks for the complement. I've never been a muse.
