When I first saw it - I loved it. And now that I've seen it some more - I still love it.
Edgy and focused - sort of like SS itself!!!
Nice job - Chad |

I like it, when you look at it long enough, it looks like the lense of a camera or the blunt tip of a pencil... maybe it's just the arty side of me coming out again. Like it anyhow. |

I was just thinking a few days ago that the logo did seem a little old school. However, the new one the jury is still out for me. I am digging the font. It is pretty good. However, I agree with a previous comment that the emblem part looks like a freehand knockoff. I am assumming they tryed to represent a camera lense with it but it is a almost too simplified to where it most people won't know what it represents. A logo should convey symbolic resemblence and this a little watered down. Would have been cool to have a contest for contributors to post ideas and let people vote. However, it will grow on me and it is a lot more "artistic" than the last...a step in the right direction. |

If it wasn't a logo, I could send one in just to see if it gets rejected! Sorry SS, I still say it's a cameleon's eye ball. |

New logo is terrible. Please return the old logo. I liked it so much. |

From having a distinct logo that symbolized what Shutterstock is doing, they now have a generic circle thing that looks similar to dozens of other logos.
Hopefully, they didn't waste much money on this.
Oh, and the name now reads "sh utt er st o ck". That must be designed by an engineer. |

The new logo is bad, the old one was worse. Sorry, have to be honest. |

Sorry, but it reminds me of another microstock site logo. |

I do like the lettering actually, but the logo itself not so sure.
Agree circles need to be more balanced/even/whatever; probably thinner on the inner ones if it was me.
My first take on it though was too similar to a competitors look. Though its quite different in shape, its the a very similar color and still uses circles. |
