Does anyone have any advise on Business Incorporation

I'm looking for advise on setting up my Stock Photography into a "incorporated business" if it makes sense.

Questions:
1) When does it make sense to incorporate? (income vs expenses like legal)
2) What type of corporation? (assuming only 1 employee, but some sub-contractors)
3) Best resource for learning small business details? (book or class at CC or ???)
4) anyone willing to share a business plan or break down of their process?
