That was so funny...and I'm guilty as charged for some of the categories. I'll try and do better, and I will definitely keep the reviewer in mind!

Great stuff even after all these years. I'm guilty as charged (amatuers usually are) and I plan on printing page 1 and hanging it in my makeshift studio with highlights on some of the examples of what not to do. Strange that I was actually planning on doing some of these. Ouch! I hope a new post will put this back on the front page so other Newbies can find it and get a little education.

I know I needed it!

Enjoy,

Frank Jr.

ROFLMAO!

I am guilty with the kids one! I know I can clean my kids face just when I want to snap the photo a nose is running or drool or food has emerged from somewhere...I swear kids do that on purpose!

This is way too entertaining. This years favorite topics are really dwindling downloads, taxation and accountancy.

Posting is oh so much easier than submitting a quality image that runs the risk of getting judged and belittled by a reviewer.

Just getting a feel for the place and came across this thread...LOL! It's great! I felt like parts of it could be excerpts from a Dr. Seuss book, especially the paragraph on the egg! :)

I think the piece should be required reading, especially for those who start on SS.
and as a beginner I don not take offence, actually I had to think twice before responding... as my pictures are not always accepted. I don't complain... I learn... I move on, and feel ashamed for waisting reviewers time.

And as someone mentioned before, I think we all could benefit from more public feedback. I suggest a reviewers top 10 of the week in both directions
- 10 favorite (which can be just beautifull or just unique, or perhaps both)
- 10 worst (a valueble lesson for all of us)

preferebly with a full comment from the reviewers, not to dish someone, but for us all to learn.
