On the form, it says:
"Supporting documentation/information about the event
Copies of any forms the event organizers require you to fill out"
What would this include? I don't have anything, and the organizers don't have anything for me. |

Just complete the application as much as you possibly can. The more information you can provide the easier it will be for the staff to do their job.
I did my first one last night and the experience was so positive!!! The staff at the event was wonderful. I was on a standard 3 song credential but was allowed to stay. The only problem I experienced was with the extremely poor lighting and not being able to use flash so that effected my pictures but that wasn't anything that SS or I could control. I do encourage anyone who wants to try this to do so. |

What'd you shoot, a concert?
3 song credential? Meaning you can only stay around through 3 songs? |

Yes, a concert. Concert photography has been a hobby of mine since Jan 05 and have traveled all over the USA for concerts.
From what I understand, the standard 3 song credentials is common. You are allowed in to shoot for 3 songs. From reading previous posts it sounds like some venues will allow you to stay (and not shoot after the 3), some will make you leave after 3 songs. The place I was at didn't care that I stayed and let me keep shooting as long as I wanted.
Because of this uncertainty, I wouldn't travel far for a show unless I bought a ticket so I would be able to stay after the 3 songs. I would also buy a tix for a show I really wanted to see. I have tix to 2 upcoming concerts and have put in for a red carpet pass. |

Just curious, Has anyone been able to attend an NFL, Division 1 College Football or Major League Baseball game through this program? |

Yea any luck w/ NFL? I wanna try out some 49ers games.
I've gotten into MLB games, as a ticket holder, with my 70-200; they didn't care. |

I got an email response regarding NFL saying this:
"Not yet, but apply and we will try."

Good luck. I hope you get it!
I am waiting on an answer to take photos at the Temple - Buffalo game in September. It is at Linclon Financial Field. |

just want to comment on what a superb job aisia and the red carpet team does to get you into events, for fast communication and even fast review times (thanx James and Anthony).
i've even had a couple sales (for editorial) already. i just wondered if the photo reviews are as stringent as for regular stock submissions or are they relaxed a bit because it's news? |

Aisia did a great job for me as well. I was on the sidelines for the Temple-Buffalo game on Saturday. Lincoln Financial Field is a beautiful stadium. Thanks! |

This question is for anyone who has photographed images for the Red Carpet Program: How do your earnings of celebrity/event photos compare to your sales of general stock images? You can answer me here or email to knostpix@hotmail.com. |

i'd say you'll get one or two downloads per photo. but, i imagine it really depends on the event and who/what you photograph. i think someone attended a democratic rally last year and got some good images of then presidential candidate obama. that must be worth a lot of dl.
i have to say, even though these are editorial/news items, people are still downloading them weeks/months after the event. |
