I can't find the answer to this problem in PS Elements 3.0 Help section. To enter Metadata on a photo, I go to File>File Info and there I can enter Description, Author, Document Title, but under Keywords, it says "Keywords can be added using "tags" within the Photo Browser. But in the Photo Browser under File>Write Tag Info to Files, nothing happens. There's no window that opens or line to enter the keywords.
Is anyone using PS Elements 3.0 to enter data including Keywords and, if so, could you tell me what to do?

I have the same problem. I downloaded the trial version of Elements 4 and there's no improvement as far as keywording goes. Right now I just put the keywords in "caption", then when I upload I cut the keywords from the description field and paste into keywords. It's better than nothing, but it would so much better to be able to put the keywords in the file info to begin with. Can anyone help us with this? |

In PSE4 go to File/File Info then IPTC content and enter description and keywords in thier respective fields. Don't know if it's the same in PSE3 or not. |

I'm just using the trial version of PSE4 so I guess I'll have to get the real thing. In the trial when I go to file info, the keyword section is unavailable and there's a note saying "keywords can be added using tags withing the photo browser". It doesn't say IPTC anywhere at all that I can see. Must be one of the features that isn't activated till the program is purchased. Thanks for your help though. |
