that reminds me of the cake mix they came up with years and years ago which you only had to add water to make it work,.. didnt sell and they took out several ingredients so that women would feel like they were making the cake by adding them back in.. and sold like crazy..
just realized there is no relevance to the spam subject.. i am just way tired making stock all day.. must go to bed!! |

Yeah, along the lines of the ad "This is your last chance to send $10 to PO Box 666, Some Post Office" or "Send $20 for a proven method to cut your bills in half..." and then you send a $2 pair of scissors?? :-)
Cheers,

"One in ten users have bought products advertised in junk mail" |
I think the fact that "nearly a third of e-mail users have clicked on links in spam messages" is almost as scary. What, do they have a death wish?
It's scary AND depressing, because if they didn't click and/or buy, then the rest of us wouldn't get so much spam...

How about, the Admin doing a little bit of so called "spaming" on this site.
I think you could afford to post some ego building messages here w/o sounding overly conceited, and still be with pride.
At the least something like a yearly Financial Report, or smaller more frequent ones.
If you agree, start working on it.
Suggested timing could be; the more common years end report, the yearly anniversary of SS, just before Christmas or another date of your choosing.
Some of your "What a Great Company We Are" reports could show on or near the front pages of SS.
Remember this?
Why going exclusive with another agency is a bad idea:

Or your repply to my very first post.
Is ShutterStock making money? Sam [a Newbie]

Something along the lines of those two above links.
I am sounding like a member of your round table! So I stop. Sam.

One more on spreading the news of "My Product is so Good".
I suggest you place a link called "For the Press" in your front page next to "Contact Us", I am sure you know what the press is willing to hear and spread around for free.
Its scary what could happen in terms of hits if the press talks good abt SS. Sam. |
