I submitted 5 images recently. They weren't approved. They are handy painted backgrounds on paper. I just used the scanner with the high resolution option (600 dpi). I didn't use any software to change them. They are very arty and good for digital creations. I don't know why I got message like that: "Noise, film grain, over-sharpening, or artifacts at full size."
Please could someone help me to understand it?

I should add whole texture is original and it's created by the paint brush and roller.

First, I'm confused (as usual). You said you submitted 5 images. Didn't you need to submit 10 for your initial review?
Second, I do see what appears to be artifacting in the sample you provided. After you scan the image, are you saving it at the highest quality setting (in Photoshop, for example, you'd save it as a .jpg with a quality setting of 12 (maximum quality)). If you save it at too low of a setting, it will be compressed too much and too much compression will cause artifacts (known as "compression artifacts" - it's those little tiny straight, blocky lines scattered throughout the image).
Third, if this is your original submission, which I'm assuming it is, it's best to submit a variety of subjects, not just one type of image. For example, don't submit 10 hand-painted abstract backgrounds. After you're accepted you can "specialize" if you like.
I THINK that answers your question.
Oh, and by the way, you should post this in the Critique/Tips/Tricks forum instead of here. You'll get more feedback that way.

Thank you for your help :)
I submitted 10 images but 5 of them were nude and I attached model realise form only. I don't have model's ID. Nobody mention about ID before. This is a first site I noticed it. I'm not even sure I have a rights to take my model's drive licence or passport to scan. I will keep nude for more "arty" sites probably.
I saved a file in JPG 12 quality. This sample is little bit lower because the file was to big to attached.
I will post on the critique forum soon.

All nudes require a photo ID to be sent in with the model release. We have to make sure the models are old enough to be featured in the nude. They must also be 21 or older.

So far none of the models I've ever worked with has ever had an issue with me making a copy of their ID. Generally I just snap a couple of pictures of their ID at the end of the shoot and attach it to the bottom of the signed release.

Thank you guys for your help. I will remember about ID in the future shots. I just didn't know some sites will need it. Nude photographers from my area I spoke with always use model realize form only. Some shots were done year ago or so and I don't want bother my models right now.
