I use scripts quite a lot, especially the "round any corner" script, but it's very annoying having to use the top menu (File/Scripts/Round Any Corner) every time. Is there any way to assign a shortcut to custom scripts?? (It's not available under "Keyboard Shortcuts...")

As far as I know, there isn't any option to assign a shortcut to a particular script. (But I'm not sure either; perhaps someone else knows more. I'm not using too many shortcuts anyways.) The only thing you can do is to save it within another folder than the normal script-folder and then use control+F12 for "other script" and choose it from there. Saves at least one step. :}
What about defining the complete thing as an action? Already tried?

Round Any Corner:

And here's a bunch of other useful scripts:

Yeah, I though about actions but the bad thing is you have to choose a value and press OK to record the action, which means I'll get a certain value recorded. I just want the dialog window to open.

I think the possibility of rounding any corner should be included inIllustrator... and many other features as well, but I think I've already complained about that in another thread. :)[/url]

Yes, of course you're right. Didn't think of that.
*scratching her head*
:)
Is the script different from the filter you can round corners with? Esp. does it work for those, which are not exactly "corners", but a bit rounded before?

It's a great script! Apart from the round corner effect in Illustrator you can choose just the points you want to round instead of the entire path, and it doesn't have to be a "real" corner point to work. See image below.

I know! I was also very happy when I found it. The only bad thing about it is that there's no preview.

I don't understand why Adobe isn't including this feature in Illustrator (with preview).
