You need to show the "amazing colors", the eye looks dead without a catchlight,The patch of light on the floor and orange fringe on bottom of bird, needs to go,and the crop is too tight on the full image.Backlighting needs to be better controlled/manipulated.Ken

You're using RGB rather than sRGB which is making the colors look dull when you post here.

I know I should have controlled the light but that appeared to be the turkey's job. He didn't like the poster board we were waving around at him so when I got him stopped in the shade i took my opportunity.
I have done the editing ken said i needed (and why i can't see these things before someone points it out i don't know)and have changed the color to sRGB. Do I need to do more?

Thank you for the info. I wondered why they looked better on my hard drive than on the server and that wont happen again.
Is the turkey good to go?

No-the turkey's head is dead central in the frame and the background is too cluttered-try filling the frame-suggested crop:

Thanks, I couldnt crop it as tight as suggested and keep it above 4,000,000. This looks way better though, I appreciate all the help.
Would this be one for my 2nd attempt at 10

I would advice against it unless you have a turkey that looks like this
