How to post images to the contest.

Here is how your contest post should look: (less the text in brackets, of course)

(You insert the images by putting the image jpg number in these brackets: [img]my number. jpg[/img]
Find you .jpg number by going to the image page>>>right click on the image>>>click properties>>>highlight the image location>>>right click>>>copy>>>paste the copied file number between those IMG brackets.)

(You must also link to the page where your image lives, as above.)

Images not posted this way will not be considered.

Thanks!

I'm not US based so PG-rated means nothing to me. Could someone explain the term? Thanks.

Thanks.

That is kinda vague, but I think I got an idea what that might exclude. ;-)

Varius,
PG actually stands for "Parental Guidance" suggested, meaning that parents might want to see the movie before taking the kids... "R" means restricted, no one under age 17 admitted without parent or guardian. "X" means, well... I think you get the idea already anyway...

OK - Is is not very intuitive to post images to this forum but finally I succeded :)
I think that many people would be grateful if you implement simpler method of posting uploaded images (e.g. putting only your image ID into img tags)

A clarification please:

A site member was kind enough to PM me to say I'd forgotten the link for my contest images. I actually had the link - the pictures themselves are clickable given the way I coded the UBB.

It then occurred to me that although I think what I've done is simpler visually, and does have a link, that my images would not be considered because of how I made the link.

Is it OK if the images are clickable instead of putting in a separate text link underneath?

There is a sticky thread in the Questions and Answers Forum with a diagram if it is difficult to understand the directions given here. This really isn't difficult or complicated.

On a Mac, you need to hold the control key and click on the image... choose Copy Image Address... and use the img tags.....

One question, in the competition thread it says:
"Our winner is Lorraine Kourafas for this wonderful design: "
This kinda confuses me, is there a winner already even though the entry stage still isn't closed? Or is it the winner from the previous month?

Lorraine was the winner of the previous month's contest.

That sorts it out=] It's just that I didn't hear anything about last month's contest, guess I'll have to read the forums a bit more =]
