I don't have a problem with that.

To take an average:

1100 DLs divided by 500 days = 2.2 DLs per day average
5 DLs divided by 2 days = 2.5 DLs per day average

Obviously, I'm guessing at the time online, etc. but the new image will either maintain a higher DL per day average, or drop back behind the other image very quickly.

To be honest, that's actually the behaviour I would expect from a popular search. What I have trouble with is images with NO DLs sitting ahead of good sellers.

Anyway, I have started the cull and it feels good! 81 images gone this afternoon, and another 56 selected, that I'm about to start deleting. I'll wait until the portfolio updates and see how it looks, and then start the second round selection.

YAY!!! Looks like the SS team has resolved the issue! at least my portfolio is appearing corrected in the Popular search. I hope that's the case for everyone. ;)
THANKS, SS!

Yes, it looks good again. Very happy.

It's also notable that the portfolio can now be seen in the relevant order. It used to show just the newest when you clicked on relevant. This might give us some little insights into the relevancy mystery at last.

I think sometimes it takes a while for all of the servers to sync up? Hopefully, you'll see the improvements soon.

Lol, are you making conclusions and calculations after one day? IMHO you have to watch it for a while before you can know if it's getting better or worse.

My day was perfectly normal by the way.

LOL, I know, but the last two days have been very slow, so I figured it was down to the popular search. It seems popular to blame the popular search ;-)

I blame all searches that don't put my images first ;)

Glad to see things back to a more logical order.

Ow, my own popular tab is still mixed up, but that never bothered me.

Looks like mine is back on track too Marie. I have to say that having my portfolio all messed up like it was did not hurt sales any. I have just passed my BME and still have a few days to do. Can't believe how many of my very old images are selling now. Glad to see that things may be on the road to recovery.
