This is particularly for vector contributors and admin, generally open for everybody.

i am just wondered what SS subscriber will get when they download vector? Will they get .eps file or just .jpg file?

My concern is IF, and only IF, the subscriber get .eps file, they can SAVE, COPY, and USE all the brushes, path, symbols, objects, etc that contained in the original .eps file.
Whoever make the original .eps file might also create the path, brushes, objects, symbol, etc from scratch. While whoever SAVE, COPY, and USE it didn't contribute anything beside paying for the subscription fee (which is doesn't benefit the creator in anyway).

Correct me if i am wrong in this case, but is there anyway to combine all layers so subcriber can't use our brushes, symbols, objects, path, etc?
And correct me too if SS give away .eps file. I am not subscriber, only contributor therefore i don't know anything about what kind of file SS give to subscriber.
Please if any of SS reviewer or admin read this, post your comment too. For me, this is very serious. Why? because this ain't like photoshop, you can make photoshop' brush or object anyhow anyway and those objects and brushes might not be re-useable because it's PIXEL. On the other hand, if our object, brush, path, symbol are re-useable, we might get into trouble.

They get the EPS file. They need it to have the ability to scale to anysize which vector allows you -- the jpeg is worthless in this case.

I always delete any brushes, etc. that aren't being used in the file, and often use the "expand appearance" feature if I'm concerned about a complex brush or something being 'stolen' for other purposes.

Save as another file first:
Click on your path/object and select Object>Expand Appearance and it will create 'normal' paths and fills of your brush strokes... And then remember to delete the brush stroke from the pallete.

thanks for the reply, that's help a little bit. but still, with the path selected, i can still make brush out of it. I guess this is only my over concern because i am really sensitive to copyright.
