But only if the threads in it don't show up on the front page under 'latest on the forums' window.

Does not metter where, but it should stay.
If people posting under Show me..., means they need it.
Otherwise forum will be dead, in our opinion.
The most interesting to see what was sold lately, no doubts.
Very important to see new images and all works under Show me... /anything.
If you do not want to see it, do not click on it. |

It matters where they are.
They don't need to show, just want to show, big difference.
It may be intersting to you to see what others sold, in such case have you read ever single post in the thread. Others think it's not interesting at all.
I don't have to click it, problem is when clicking on anything forum I see most threads start with show me hence having them in a seperate forum would actually be good for the once who want to show and don't want to see.
Having so many show me threads doesn't make the forum interesting, it actually devalues it and makes many valuable contributors leave.
You always say "we", just curious how many of you are typing the messages ;-0

I'd love a show me forum.
I'd avoid it like the plague.. unless I was bored stupid and had nothing better to do with my time.
Winning back the forums could be good, but it's only as good as the people who actually start new threads... not those that start with show me!!

We are two people, that is why it will be always WE. Very simple.
Creating a separate forum for "Show me..." will not stop it from popping up on home page, anyway.
Too many people need it. |

It's not about banishing the Show me thread all together, but allowing the Anything goes section to become Anything Goes and NOT Show me! |

I think it would be a good idea to separate the forums. I do like some of the "show me" threads to motivate me and give me some ideas when I am having "photo block", but I think they would be best separated out of the general threads....Great Idea! |
