Macintosh OS X FTP Tutorial

Step 1: Acquire Program and Install
For Apple based computers (Macintosh OS X), we recommend that you download Cyberduck. You can download it for free on Cyberduck's Homepage..

Step 2: Load Cyberduck
After you load Cyberduck, you will get a Window similar to the one pictured below.

Cyberduck Main

Step 3: Connect to FTP Server
After you have loaded Cyberduck, you will have to connect to Shutterstock's FTP server. The first step is to click on the button New Connection. Once you click on it, you will see something similar to what is pictured below.

Cyberduck Login

Fill in the appropriate values in the following fields (most fields will remain untoched):
Server: ftp.shutterstock.com
Username: Your Submit Account's E-Mail Address (for example, email@somewhere.com)
Password: Your Submit Account's Password

Once all the fields have been filled in, click on the Connnect button. Once you have clicked on it, you should connect to the Shutterstock's FTP server and you can move onto Step 4.

Step 4: Upload Files
Once you have connected to the FTP server, you will need to drag and drop the files from your computer onto the main window of Cyberduck. After you drop a file, it will upload it. If you drag and drop multiple files onto Cyberduck, it will upload all of the files at once.

Step 5: You're Done!
That's right, that's all that is necessary for you to do in order for you to send your files to our server. But note, that it does take time to actually send the files to our server. Please note that Cyberducks upload times are for estimate purposes only and is not an actual time remaining.

Once you have uploaded all of your files, you can proceed to Submitted Photos or Submitted Footage!
