Når du refererer til en persons race eller etnicitet, skal du bruge adjektiver og ikke substantiver, som i "en spansk person" (adj.) frem for "en spanier" (n.).
Gæt ikke en models race, etnicitet, religion, alder, seksuel orientering eller køn. Ideelt vil modellen give dig disse oplysninger, så du kan oprette titler og nøgleord, der er nøjagtige og reflekterer hvordan modellen identificerer sig selv. Hvis de ikke giver disse oplysninger, kan du høfligt bede dem om det. Sørg for, at du har modellens informerede samtykke, før du indsender disse oplysninger sammen med deres billede/klip. Gør ikke antagelser om en individuel persons identitet så du ikke identificer dem fejlagtigt.
