Why was my content rejected for QR Code?

Detailed QR code designs, whether functioning or inactive, are prohibited.

If your content was rejected with “QR codes are prohibited. Please only use simple designs to represent QR codes in content.”, it is most likely because:

  • A detailed QR code is depicted. Detailed QR code designs, whether functioning or inactive, are prohibited.

  • A QR code displays text or opens to a webpage.

  • Avoid, remove or obscure QR Codes from all products.

  • Only incorporate extermely simple QR code designs into your content. QR code designs that have the characteristics of a real, functioning QR codes will be rejected.
