Why was my content rejected for File Integrity?

Follow these tips if your content was corrupt or if there was an error in transmission

If your content was rejected with “File Integrity - File is corrupt, will not open properly or there was another technical problem with this upload,” it is because of one of the following issues:


File is corrupt

  • The file is corrupt or contains corrupt elements which prevent the content from being reviewed.

An error occurred during transmission

  • An error occurred during transmission and the content was unable to be reviewed.

JPEG Preview or EPS file was corrupt (illustrations only)

  • The JPEG preview or the EPS files was corrupt and could not be reviewed

We Recommend

  • Open your files in different image or video editing programs to see if they open normally.

  • Avoid using special characters such as ampersands (&), dashes, hyphens, semicolons, colons, asterisks (*), etc. in the file name.

  • Export the content again; be sure to double-check that it meets Shutterstock’s technical requirements for footage or images.
