If you already have descriptions and keywords associated with your files, you can easily upload them along with your content during the submission process in the form of a CSV file. This is especially useful if you have a large number of image or video files you are looking to upload at once.
What is a CSV file?
A CSV file (or Comma-Separated Values file) stores simple information, in this case words, in tab format which allows the Submit tool to add the data to the videos or images you upload. CSV files are most commonly created in Excel spreadsheets by saving the file with a .csv extension.
How to enter metadata in a CSV file
Each row in the CSV file represents one video or image file in your batch of uploaded content. The column names should exactly match those listed below. A file name in column A is required for each clip or image, so when uploaded correctly, the system will connect that file name in column A with the metadata provided in that row. Columns A-D are required, whereas columns E-F are optional. See this article for additional info on required tags.
Column A: Filename
Column B: Description
Column C: Keywords (separated by commas)
Column D: Categories ( 1 or 2, separated by commas, must be selected from this list)
Column E*: Illustration (Yes or No)
Column F*: Mature Content (Yes or No)
Column G*: Editorial (Yes or No)
NOTE: The Illustration , Mature Content, and Editorial tags are optional and can be included or excluded from your CSV file as needed. For example, if you don't submit illustrations or images that require a mature tag, but you do submit content for editorial use only, then you can designate column E for the Editorial tag, as shown in the example below.

How to Upload your CSV file
Do not upload your CSV file with your videos or images through FTPS or web upload page, instead add it directly on the Submit page by clicking the "CSV" button at the top of the page.
You can use one CSV file for multiple videos and/or images by making each row represent a different video or image file respectively.
If your CSV file is not formatted exactly as shown in the sample above, the file will be rejected by the uploading system with a message that it contains errors.
