Our review team handles hundreds of thousands of image and video submissions every week. To ensure a timely and consistent turnaround for our global community of contributing artists, we limit the rate of weekly submissions.
Shutterstock contributors can submit up to 500 images and up to 100 video clips during any 7 day period. The 7-day timeframe is a rolling window, so if you submit 100 images on a Monday, 200 on Wednesday, and another 200 on Friday of the same week, you will not be able to submit more content until the following Monday. If you exceed the submission limit, you will receive a pop-up message on the dashboard of your account page, that will remain until the limit window expires.
