How do I manage content in my portfolio?

Edit and organize images and videos in your Shutterstock portfolio.

Marketplace Catalog

The Marketplace Catalog page of your contributor account allows you to easily view, edit and organize all the content that has been approved in your Shutterstock portfolio and published on our customer website. You can access this page from the Portfolio menu in the left navigation bar in your contributor account.

Edit

If you need to adjust the description, keywords, or category associated with an already approved image or video clip, you can edit one file at a time or select multiple images or clips at once by checking the box in the top left of the thumbnail. Once selected, click on the Edit button in the bar that appears at the top of the page. Enter the desired changes in the editor window and then click Save. Although these corrections are not subject to review, we regularly audit our collection to ensure all current title descriptions and keywords meet our standards and requirements.

Delete

If you no longer want to include an image or clip in your portfolio, you can delete it from your Marketplace Catalog by selecting it and then clicking on the “Delete” button in the top bar. You can remove one or multiple assets at a time. It can take up to 72 hours for that asset to be removed from your portfolio on the customer website.

Adding Content to Collections

Collections make it easy to organize, edit, and showcase your portfolio. This is a great way to group related content by themes, topics, or other criteria, such as images with the same model.

You can add content to and create new collections directly from Marketplace Catalog. Select the images or video clips you want to add to a collection by checking the box in the top left of the thumbnail and then click on the “Add” button with the ♡ icon.

Once you click “Add” a new window will pop up from which you can create a new collection or add the selected content to an existing collection.

The Collections page is accessible from the Portfolio menu in the navigation bar on the left of the contributor account dashboard, allowing you to view, sort, and filter your existing collections. Learn more about Collections here.

Data Catalog

Images or videos approved for data licensing are displayed in the Data catalog section of your account, which you can access from the Portfolio menu in the left navigation bar. These assets are not published on the customer website for creative content and are used only in datasets – you can learn more about that here. Assets in the Data catalog cannot be edited once approved but can be deleted by clicking on the box in the top left corner of the image thumbnail. You can also manage data licensing permissions on your Account settings page.
