All content that is accepted in your Marketplace Catalog is published in your portfolio on our customer website and can be discovered and downloaded by customers, regardless of whether it is included in any collection. However, as your portfolio grows in size, collections make it easy to organize your images or video clips by subject, concept, or trend. Collections also allow you to track and analyze the performance of the content included in them, whether you make them public (published) or private (unpublished). You can access Collections from the Portfolio menu in the left navigation bar of your contributor account.
Published vs. Unpublished Collections
If your think of your creative marketplace portfolio as your own storefront on the customer website, consider published collections a merchandizing tool that helps you curate your portfolio for customers, helping them quickly find the content within your “store” by theme or concept. You can manage the order in which your published collections are displayed to customers from the bottom of the Public profile page in your contributor account. After enhancing your portfolio with public collections, it is time to spread the word! Share your portfolio URL on Facebook, Twitter, and other social channels.
Unpublished collections are private and are not visible to the customers exploring your portfolio on the customer site. However, they allow you to group your content for your own needs and analytics. For example, an unpublished collection with images from a particular shoot could help you analyze your earnings just from that shoot. Even though your unpublished collections are not visible to customers as a grouping, the individual assets within the collection are still published and on the customer site.

You can go one step further and analyze your highest-performing images or videos individually by navigating to the Top Performers page from the Contributor Dashboard or the Insights menu.
