If your video footage was rejected with “Video contains unnecessary audio or audio that is potentially copyrighted,” it is most likely because of one of the following issues:
Video contains audio that has been added in post (unacceptable for commercial and editorial content).
Video contains audio that is potentially copyrighted, such as music or sound effects.
Video contains dialogue, whether the model is on camera or it’s a voice-over. Commercial video can only be accepted if a signed model release for the speaker is provided.

If you would like to submit video without audio, remove the audio track using video editing software.
If you want to submit audio, please be prepared to capture it during the course of filming
When shooting, decide whether to use the on-board microphone or to use external microphones.
Control your audio settings.
Record clean ambient or environmental sounds.
Pay attention to audio in post-production
Use headphones when editing video.
Remove the audio channel if you do not wish to submit audio.
Do not add music or sound effects to your clip in post-production.
