If your video was rejected with “Content does not meet our minimum quality standards,” it may be because of one of the following issues:
Video exhibits “rolling shutter”
Moving objects within the frame appear to bend and show other optical illusions, especially fast movement within the camera
Video exhibits distortion/ anomaly
Video contains flicker, whether constant or intermittent
Focus within a video clip blurs motion
Video contains movement when objects are meant to remain static
We Recommend
Shoot video with proper stabilization tools (tripods, monopods, etc.) to minimize video manipulation in post-production
Avoid shooting in situations where your camera will not capture movement smoothly or accurately
If you do use post-production stabilization, re-watch clips prior to submission
Prepare for shoots where there is fast motion within the frame
Choose frame rates and shutter speeds that are equal to the light pulse rate to eliminate flicker.
