Yes, this is the kind of content created for high quality film and video productions, by its nature it costs more to produce and to get this quality of footage. Payouts are at the standard royalty rate for footage.
How do I become a Shutterstock Select contributor?
We’re launching Shutterstock Select with a highly-curated set of videos but will soon be inviting more Shutterstock contributors to submit premium footage. We expect for the program to become open to more contributors sometime in the future.
Will Select be open for content other than video?
We are launching with video content only at the moment, but if the addition of other types of content becomes possible, we will reach out to our contributor community.
Will Shutterstock Select impact the sale potential of the Core Shutterstock footage collection?
Shutterstock Select opens our footage collection up to a new premium audience and is not expected to cannibalize earnings from our Core collection.
