Why was my content rejected for Corrupted Release File?

Release file is corrupt and can't be viewed by the reviewer

If your content was rejected with “Corrupted Release File - Release file is corrupt or will not open properly,” it is most likely because of one of the following issues:

  • Your release file has become corrupt during the upload process and the file will not open or has errors

  • Your previously saved release file has become corrupt and will no longer open or has errors

  • Double check your saved releases in the Manage Releases page to ensure they open properly.

  • Check the original release file(s) on your computer and/or hard drive, and if they open correctly, re-upload your release file(s) again.

  • Ensure that the release file(s) are saved in JPEG format and are under 20MB in size.
